Food came out shockingly fast! I got the kid’s meal because I wasn’t all that hungry, but it was very good. I got the pizza with the pretzel bread, which apparently they’re known for, and it didn’t not disappoint. For my topping, I had bacon. I really liked the sever, Emily, I believe. Would come here again if I’m ever out this far! The soup was chicken and wild rice, and my friend liked it a lot! I didn’t have it.
They were busy. Christmas is a week away. This was my first visit. I ordered, coffee, chili mac, and a strawberry shortcake for dessert. Coffee is strong with a robust flavor. The chili mac had corkscrew pasta with lots of cheddar cheese, meat, and chili. The chili is billed as mild; however, it had some kick to it. You can place a small or large order. I chose a small order so I'd have room for dessert. Most hot entrees are served in foil pie plates with plastic silverware. Meal arrives in a basket. Service was good. My server asked me if I wanted a to-go coffee without me having to ask her. For dessert, I had the strawberry shortcake. It came with lots of whip cream, strawberries, vanilla ice cream, and a sweet biscuit. The biscuit had the consistency of a cookie as opposed to the twinkie-like sponge cakes you buy at the store. You can get one or two scoops of ice cream. The total for my order was $12.95, which is low-to-mid range. You can keep costs down by drinking water and choosing the smaller entree. Next time I go, I will get a pizza. Be sure to check out the small shop in the front. Jewelry, gloves, and other novelty items are available and most of it is reasonably priced.
There was about a 15-minute wait. We were totally expecting it because they were pretty busy. Our food was really good. Usually, when you get pretzels from anywhere, they're chewy or a bit tough. The pretzel buns were perfect. Pretzel bites with cheese were perfect. The cheese sauce had a little tangyness to it. It was really good. Everything was great. Our server was great. We went and spent the day at kimmswick for the first time, and it was really enjoyable.
It's a small (feeling) restaurant. It holds pretty many, but quarters are tight. Lots of merchandise, and tons of decor! We waited about 15 minutes, but it was a nice Saturday, people were out shopping. I had the BLT, on a pretzel bun which was very good. the waitress was excellent.
We took a drive down to The Dough Depot on a beautiful day in May. I was surprised the wait was short, and tables were available on the patio. The menu is quite large with lots of sandwiches, salads, pizza and pastas. We both ordered the Market Street Special that was recommended by the guy at the counter. My husband subbed out roast beef in lui of the ham. The sandwiches were excellent, the pretzel bread was fresh and soft. After we ate, we ordered two rootbeer floats, which were larger than I expected. We both loved the food and the setting. Bonus, there were no cicadas bombing us!! Also, we were very surprised on how inexpensive everything was! They could easily charge a few bucks more per item and still be affordable! Highly recommend!!
Charming place with delicious food! I love their sandwiches and salads. I've been eating here for years, and it's always a great experience. It is a popular place, so you might have to wait for a table.
The locals didn’t steer us wrong. This place was terrific! Delicious salads and sandwiches-I had the Mandarin Orange Salad and the Chicken Parmesan on garlic pretzel bread. The peach wine slushy was great too! Very good prices too. Highly recommend!!
Went here for lunch, hadn't been in a while. The food was really good and they have gluten free options!! Evan, our waiter definitely deserves a " Shout out!" On the dessert menu they have a drink that is a must get, especially the strawberry. I can't remember it's name. Kimswick Kooler or idk something. If you can eat gluten grab some soft pretzels to go. I hear the garlic ones are yummy! The store has fun things. You can gift shop and eat lol
